YIPA job-shadow programme in partnership with WCPDF

In partnership with the Western Cape Property Development Forum and UCT100UP, YIPA hosted a Job-shadow programme for Grade 12 students from the Khayelithsa township. This exposed the learners to various careers within the fiields of property and construction.

YIPA Education in partnership with UCT 100 UP (17 Mar)

In partnership with the UCT 100UP programme, YIPA hosted an Awareness workshop on Property, Architecture and Construction related degrees for 60 grade 12 students from Khayelithsha township who excel in Maths and Science.

Africa real estate and INFRASTRUCTURE summit (25 & 26 Oct)

On the 25th and 26th of October ten YIPA members had the opportunity to attend the African Real Estate and Infrastructure Summit held at the Sandton Convention Centre, Johannesburg.

YIPA Job Shadow Program (2 & 3 Oct)

On 2nd & 3rd of October, 12 lucky grade 11 pupils from various schools in Khayelithsa who form part of the UCT 100 Up Programme, were given the opportunity to attend the FIRST YIPA Job Shadow programme. The students were exposed to property corporate and given the opportunity to Job Shadow some of the most influential people in the industry for 2 days.

Johannesburg Property Buyer Show (27 to 29 Oct)

The Property Buyers Show was an exciting three day event (27th – 29th October 2017) that was ideal for a first time property buyer. YIPA would like the thank Spintelligent & Property Buyer Show for the opportunity to be a part of the event and play an active role.


Youth for wealth creation (9 oct)

On the 9th of October, YIPA in partnership with InvestSoc UCT hosted an educational wealth creation event sponsored by Wealth Migrate and the SA REIT Association. CEO of Equites Property Fund, Andreas Turisan, shared some valuable insights on the property industry and investing.

Africa Property Investment Summit & Expo (24 & 25 Aug)

The Africa Property Investment Summit & Expo that occurred between the 24th and 25th of August 2017, was an eye opening and enlightening experience. 



On Saturday the 12th of August, the Youth In Property Association (YIPA), held it’s inaugural YIPA High-school programme in partnership with UCT’s 100-UP schools improvement initiative.
